She’s unaware how weak Hodokubo High School’s club is at first, but later comes across Peter Drucker‘s “Management: Tasks, Responsibilities, Practices” book and starts applying its business principles to turn the team around.

Author Iwasaki Natsumi has stated that the idea actually came to him when he was playing Final Fantasy XII and couldn’t figure out an effective team composition to defeat certain monsters, after which he read another player mentioning Drucker in a blog. Upon reading the book, he found the concepts so transformative that they moved him to tears and inspired him to write his novel.”
