I know everyone knows House is based on Sherlock Holmes, but did anyone else catch this?

Been watching the BBC version of Sherlock, and in the Hounds of Baskerville episode, Cumberbatch’s Sherlock vehemently denies the possibility of a hound. Dog. Canis lupus familiaris.

Because it’s never lupus.
